SYNOPSIS
“VIZINHOS PARA SEMPRE” is an adaptation of the original Spanish series “La Que Se Avecina”, about the day-to-day adventures of a community of neighbors in the “Terraços do Glamour” condominium on the outskirts of Lisbon.
To cash in on Portugal’s housing difficulties, the developer has promised features that the condominium doesn’t have, leaving residents to deal with faulty apartments, intercoms that don’t work and walls so thin that privacy is an illusion.
Relations between the neighbors are marked by eternal disputes, constant gossip and permanent challenges, as they deal with the adversities of a condominium full of defects and problems, the only price of which is luxury.
Being inspired by the reality of housing in Portugal and Europe, the series also tackles social issues such as the cost of houses and the difficulty young people have in buying them.
With a mixture of comedy and social satire, “NEIGHBORS FOREVER” takes us on a hilarious journey through the ups and downs of life in a condominium as peculiar as it is dysfunctional.
